Two of our favorite Thai actors are coming to the San Gabriel Mission Playhouse for a special event!
Thai BL (Boys Love) actors, Zee Pruk and NuNew Charawin are making their way to the U.S. for their 1st Journey in Los Angeles on October 21st. The "Cutie Pie" co-stars will be meeting U.S. ZonZon -- the name of ZeeNuNew fans -- for the first time with live performances, interactive segments with the ZonZon, and a look at their stories as actors and friends. Let's take a moment to get to know our stars 🌟
We first met Thai model, Zee Pruk in 2018 during his time as a member of the hot-boys gang who hosted travel shows on Domundi TV's YouTube channel. We would later see Zee make his acting debut in the supporting role as Captian in Thai series, "Friend Zone." Zee took a main role as Fighter in the more commonly known 2020 series, "Why R U?", and would also star in "You Never Eat Alone," "Mae Krua Kon Mai," and Phlen Bing Bai Ngui" before meeting a co-star with whom he would share an undeniable chemistry with -- on and off screen. In 2022, Zee took on the role of Lian Kilen Wang -- also referred to as Hia Lian throughout the series -- in the popular Thai BL series, "Cutie Pie," where he would co-star next to rookie Thai actor and singer, NuNew (as Kuea Keerati).
We first met NuNew Charawin in 2022 where he made is acting debut as he took on the role of Kuea Keerati / "Kilin" in fan-favorite Thai BL series, "Cutie Pie" alongside of Zee (as Hia Lian). He quickly rose to fame during this role in which he would win a number of awards including "Shining Star of the Year" at the 2022 Kazz Awards and "Rookie of the Year" at the 2022 Mint Awards -- alongside of several co-star awards with Zee. The talents of the popular Rookie actor didn't end there, NuNew would also go on to make his solo debut with OST "True Love" for the 2022 series, "To Sir, With Love."
