But, the opening of a new era will be easier if we are with the fans and everyone who is supporting us. • Wave to Earth Captures Every Season at Their Sold-Out Irving Show

Written and Photographed by Deborah R. Whether you’re into Korean music or not, chances are you’ve heard of South Korean indie band Wave to Earth over the past year. The Seoul-based trio Wave to Earth, featuring singer-songwriter Daniel Kim, drummer Shin Dong Kyu, and bassist John Cha, debuted in 2019 with their single "wave." Since then, they've carved out a distinct space in the music scene with their signature indie pop sound. Their song “seasons” became an internet hit, known for its soft vocals, heartfelt lyrics, and immersive sound. With over 294 million streams on Spotify, it’s the song that landed Wave to Earth on many playlists. On October 7th, after a year, the band made their return to the Dallas area, playing a sold-out show at the Toyota Music Factory in Irving, TX. Fans lined up early, hoping to snag the best spots at the front of the pit, but in truth, every spot in the venue is perfect for experiencing a Wave to Earth show. Opening the night, indie-rock/alternative band PRYVT (pronounced “private”) set the tone for the evening. Led by vocalist Hanuel, along with producer/guitarist JT, the band performed without their bassist HNATA, who was absent for this tour. PRYVT won over the crowd with their sweet vocals and heartfelt lyrics, delivering tracks like “tell me, will we survive?,""I can’t go home anymore,” and fan favorite “if it’s not you.” Fans became excited as PRYVT announced their upcoming album scheduled to release on November 15th. If you weren’t a PRYVT fan before, you definitely left the show as one after their remarkable performance. After a brief intermission, the crowd erupted in excitement as Wave to Earth made their way to the stage, joined by additional members Jeon-min on saxophone and Jo Jung-geun on keyboard. The five musicians showcased their exceptional instrumental talent, kicking off with "are you bored?" from their latest album ‘play with earth! 0.03.’ They kept the energy high with the title track "play with earth!" followed by fan favorites "bad" and "peach eyes," with the audience singing along to every word. Wave to Earth continued their set with live performances from their latest album, featuring tracks like "beck," "holyland," and the remastered version of "pueblo." There's something uniquely satisfying about a band sounding even better live than on a recording, and Wave to Earth achieved this effortlessly. Their performance was elevated by ad-libs, impressive guitar and saxophone solos, and an unforgettable drum solo from Dong Kyu. One of the most anticipated moments of the night was their performance of "annie," known for its powerful, scream-along pre-chorus. The Irving crowd didn’t hold back, shouting in unison, “F**k you, I am saying!” before Daniel's soulful vocals took over, sending chills throughout the entire venue. The atmosphere was electric with good vibes and unforgettable music as the band began to close out the show. They treated fans to a few of their earlier hits, including the beloved tracks "seasons," "pink," and "love." Despite “love” being a fully Korean song, nearly every fan in the venue sang along, creating a heartwarming and unified moment that night. As the show drew to a close, Wave to Earth took a moment to commemorate the night by sitting on the stage for a photo with their fans, celebrating both an incredible performance and an equally amazing audience. The concert was a testament to the band's rising popularity, not just in Texas, but across the United States. Their 0.03 World Tour marks their second sold-out North American tour, and with their undeniable talent and unique sound, it’s clear that Wave to Earth is destined for even bigger stages. • Meet the Artist: Beomhan Continues to Create a Genuine Connection with Fans and Authenticity on Stage

The heat of the summer was full throttle as Georgia K-Pop fans greeted the sensational Chinese-American, New York-born Beomhan on October 6, at the 2024 Korean Foundation Festival in Atlanta! Beomhan , the multi-talented artist known for his rapping, singing, and dancing skills, has etched his name in the hearts of fans across Atlanta and its neighboring areas. Starting his musical journey as a trainee under Fly Music (FM) Entertainment, he made his first release with pre debut single, " Sun's Up ," featuring Roda of M.O.N.T on July 2, 2021, setting the stage for a remarkably inspirational journey that showcases his perseverance, determination. His ability to forge personal connections with fans old and new distinguishes him as an artist who treasures the bond he shares with his audience. In 2023, Beomhan separated from FM Entertainment, embracing a new chapter that allowed him to reveal a more vulnerable and authentic side to his adoring fans, fondly known as Tiger Cubs. This transition paved the way for his highly anticipated solo debut as an independent artist in 2024 with " Me, Myself, and I ." Warmly welcoming fans from near and far, Beomhan introduced himself to those in attendance before beginning his performance. The moment arrived to captivate the audience with a meticulously crafted performance of his pre-debut track, " Sun's Up ," a song celebrating his journey from New York to enduring grueling 16-hour training days. Leading the crowd in a spirited rendition of the "fan chant" for "Ashes," Beomhan enlisted the help of Tiger Cubs and festival-goers, igniting the atmosphere with an infectious energy! "For this next song, when I say, " 불질러, To the ashes ...," you say, ' TO THE ASHES !' After a few practice rounds, attendees rose to the occasion, showcasing their enthusiasm! During his electrifying performance of " Ashes ," Beomhan dazzled the audience with his dynamic dance moves and commanding stage presence as he filled the stage. Introducing his next act, " Jackpot ," the lead single from his upcoming re-debut album, Beomhan expressed his desire to provide fans with a song that they can embrace and share with pride! The final segment began with a powerful declaration, "If you are here, you are my strongest soldier! This year was not easy for Beomhan fans,..." as he introduced the emotionally charged " Me, Myself, and I ," his solo debut track released on January 31, 2024. Between the afternoon and evening performances, Beomhan engaged with fans through hi-touch sessions, a fan sign session, and selfies, embodying his genuine connection with his supporters. During the second act, attendees witnessed Beomhan's authenticity shine as he shared personal experiences and a deeper look into his musical journey. "I'm going to flip a coin…. …If it lands on tails, I’m going to go be a K-Pop idol. I flipped the coin, never looked at it, and booked a flight to Korea. ..." ~ Beomhan Just before Beomhan  stepped onto the stage to showcase his many talents, we were fortunate enough to have an amazing sit-down with the skillful rising artist for a brief interview that seamlessly transitioned into a laid-back chat filled with admiration and emotion, exploring his musical journey and his highly anticipated upcoming re-debut album! K Fuse: Hello, Beomhan!  Thank you for taking a moment to speak with us here at K Fuse, and sharing your story with our readers!  While we are pre-debut fans, some of our readers may be meeting you for the first time.  Could you please take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers? Beomhan:  Well, hello K Fuse and K Fuse readers… I know you have a name,..." K Fuse: SoundLovers! Beomhan:  What's up, SoundLovers?!? It's me, Beomhan, here today! I'm a former K-Pop trainee turned independent artist releasing my own music in America. My dream is to be the biggest pop star in the world, and I hope you guys can come and support me on this journey. K Fuse: I like that dream! If you could describe yourself as an artist in three words, what three words would you choose, and why?  Beomhan: Unhinged -- for sure. Passionate. and Dedicated. I am dedicated to my work, my art, and—most importantly—my fans. K Fuse: That's noticeable. In everything that you do, that can be seen. What would you say is your greatest musical influence? Beomhan: My greatest musical influence is Michael Jackson. I love Michael Jackson so much! K Fuse: What's your favorite song? Beomhan: "The Way You Make Me Feel." K Fuse: Oooooh! Okay! ^_^ Beomhan: Too long, though. Very long. It gets to the point I'm like, "wait..., I've been listening to this for six minutes." I'm enjoying it, Sorry, Michael Jackson. I love you. K Fuse: What's been the biggest change going from an artist managed under a label to being an independent artist? Beomhan: So, I think the biggest part of it is focus, and I have a lot of trouble focusing. When I was back at my label, I could spend 16 to 18 hours a day training, just worrying about nothing but my art. Now it's more about managing the merch, managing the websites, running the social media, and doing all that stuff. Doing it all by myself is gratifying in a way, and I feel very accomplished. But it is a lot to handle sometimes. K Fuse: You made your solo debut with "Me, Myself & I."  Can you talk us through your creative process for that song? Beomhan: What I wanted to try to convey was a celebration of independence. I wanted a song that could uplift people, empower them to dance and move, and empower them to find some kind of energy in being alone. That was my message. How well that came across?!?! I don't know! … well… I do know. K Fuse: We (as) fans, and a lot of readers supported that song. Beomhan: Thank you! The conversation continued as if talking to a longtime friend, with honest and emotionally charged answers as they continued to flow from Beomhan as he elaborated each answer to fully translate and show his heart for not only Tiger Cubs, but also casual listeners of his music, and casual viewers of his SNS live streams. K Fuse: You have participated in several fan engagement events in the past and even now. What has been the most exciting part of these events for you? Beomhan: I think the greatest honor for an artist is to be able to make an impact, whether it's to be able to change someone's life, change a society, a culture, or move something forward. It's always been my goal to help one person and just touch someone who was like me at one point. Even the reason I want to be famous is so that I can reach as many people as possible. Now, my favorite part about these fan engagements is hearing the fans' stories and truly understanding that what I do matters—at least to one person or to one person who came to the concert that day. That's my favorite part. K Fuse: That's actually a good intro into our next question. You host Instagram lives – known as Mental Health Monday lives.  How did you get started, and what is your goal in doing these lives? Beomhan: I wasn't too sure about whether to do the lives or not. Lately, doing them has definitely brought back some backlash. But my goal for it, like I said, is to just help one person. I know that I myself struggle with a bunch of mental health issues, and if someone I looked up to were able to speak about something I was going through, I know it would help me. So, I thought, okay, whether there's backlash or not, I just wanted to be this for one person at least. K Fuse: I know that several of our followers tune into those lives.  I have also tuned into those lives, and while I do not personally suffer from any known mental health issues, (I am surrounded by some who do), your lives have given me a new perspective on what they may be going through, and how to approach them (during difficult times).   You’re vulnerable in front of your fans during your lives. When you do this, do you have a plan? When you do these lives, do you predetermine what you're going to talk about, or ...? Beomhan: So, to be safe…, I do try to plan it. As Beomhan , I often do not read the notes and go off-script – my bad, guys! And like you said, it does open up that vulnerability. The scary part about vulnerability is the possibility of being attacked. And if you are vulnerable without expecting to be attacked, then you are expecting to be invincible…, which no one is. So that's how I also try to deal with backlash on Mental Health Mondays and other things. I just try and prepare myself — okay, I am going to be vulnerable, and people are going to attack me, but that's part of being strong. And it's more about what's the deeper message or meaning that I have. K Fuse: Can you hint at, or spoil any upcoming projects?  We have heard that you are releasing a new album soon! Beomhan: BOOM! So, I have a new album coming very soon! We have a main track that everyone will be able to hear, and we have been giving sneak peeks of it—called "JACKPOT!" And I want to say, "I'm sorry" to all Beomhan fans for the past year. If you are a Beomhan fan, you are the strongest soldier on this planet! "Aye! Checkout Beomhan!" "Oh yeah? Let me listen to his music! Wait..." So with this new album, we are going to change all that and come with good music and good things that the fans can rally behind and be proud of. K Fuse: What inspired “JACKPOT," and what message would you like to convey to listeners of "JACKPOT?” Beomhan: With the album -- it's called 'Vibration,' and it's about positive messaging, looking forward, manifesting good things and happy things in your life, and just staying positive. It's a simple message for casual listeners to hop on to, but also for Beomhan fans -- for people who are on this journey with us, they'll know the deeper meaning of the positive messaging, and how really strong and important it truly is. K Fuse: What genre would you classify “JACKPOT” as? Beomhan: It's like pop, R&B, and K-Pop. It's like me -- it's a lot of things. K Fuse:   And all good things! So, as long-time supporters, given the public response to “Me, Myself, and I,” we are looking forward to this new release and are rooting for you to receive a more positive public response! Are you worried of this being a “re-debut” for you? Beomhan: No, because I'm actually really proud of it, and I think this is an opportunity and privilege given to me by fans. My manager here tells me all the time, "This is not normal. No one has ever taken back a record." So, really, this whole re-debut is an empowerment message -- also from the fans -- about how fans aren't going to let me down. So, I am proud of it, I'm proud of the weakness that it also shows, and the strength in the community that it shows. So, yeah, it's a re-debut. K Fuse: We are looking forward to it. What is the most rewarding part of being an independent artist? Most challenging? Beomhan: The most rewarding part about being an independent artist is being proud of my work and my own art. The most challenging is creating my own work and my own art. It's both gratifying and challenging, but it's also gratifying in its challenges. K Fuse: I get that with creating content Beomhan: Girrl! Creating content Monday through Friday. Can I take the weekend off? K Fuse and Beomhan: Nope, can't do that ~chuckles~ K Fuse:  What has been the best piece of advice you have been given throughout your musical journey? Beomhan: This isn't a musical advice per se, but it's something that my mom taught me that always sticks with me. Life is hard... and everybody's life is hard... but there's some people who smile, and some people who don't. So, it is hard, just do it with a smile. K Fuse: What is your fandom name, and how did your fandom get its name? Beomhan:  It's the Tiger Cubs! Beomhan means "To Be A Tiger!" Beom means "tiger," Han means "to be," and I love my fans -- I have a tattoo dedicated to it! K Fuse: Is there a message that you would like to leave your fans and our readers? Beomhan:  Thank you, Tiger Cubs, and thank you, SoundLovers, for all of your support throughout the years, and thank you for believing in me. I know that the journey has been a wild up-and- down, and to still be with me truly means a lot to me. I hope that one day I can meet you all. My dreams wouldn't be possible without each and every one of you. I love you all, and thank you again. Get ready for an electrifying comeback from the incredibly talented Beomhan! " Dive into our exclusive interview with POW below! Hey, it's great to see you guys again! Before we start, we've got some new readers who are interested in POW , so can you take a moment to introduce yourselves? YORCH - Hi! This is POW’s eldest, YORCH.  HYUNBIN - Hello! This is HYUNBIN from POW.  JUNGBIN - Hello! This is POW’s leader, JUNGBIN.  DONGYEON - Hi! This is POW’s DONGYEON. So nice to meet you!  HONG - Hi! This is POW’s youngest, HONG.  Last time we talked, you had just dropped " VALENTINE " and you've been super busy since then – you had the [POW House in Thailand] Fan Meeting / Live Stage, you were at KCON LA in July, and now you're getting ready for a comeback in October! So, let's take a moment to catch up on all these exciting events you've completed! Last time we talked, you mentioned you wanted to visit a bunch of places in Thailand, like Icon Siam, Real Thai Street, Phi Phi Island, Amphawa Floating Market, and Phucket. Did you get to go to any/all of them? If not, were there any other places you went to that you really liked? YORCH : I went to Khao Kheow Open Zoo before, but recently I've been seeing a lot about the baby hippo, Moo Deng, on social media. So I'd love to visit again with the members to see it! HYUNBIN : I haven’t been to many places yet, but I love animals. I especially like elephants, so I really want to meet the elephants in Thailand. JUNGBIN : I haven’t had the chance to visit those places yet, but after our trip to Thailand, I’ve been trying out Thai food here in Korea. Next time, I want to explore more dishes I haven’t tried before. DONGYEON : I haven’t been to many places yet, but what sticks out the most for me is the POW HOUSE in Bangkok. I told our fans that I wanted to remember every part of that performance, and I still think about it often. HONG : I want to visit YORCH’s hometown, Phayao. Before our debut, the members and I visited my hometown, Jeonju, and YORCH really enjoyed it. This time, I’d like to visit his hometown!  What was the most memorable part of your POW House in Bangkok Live Stage? YORCH : What I remember the most was when the fans surprised us with a slogan event at the end. HYUNBIN : I was really touched when the fans prepared a surprise event for us. JUNGBIN : The moment right before we took the group picture at the end, we saw all the fans holding up the slogans together. This memory sticks out the most to me. Thinking about all the moments leading up to that, was very emotional for me.  DONGYEON : The most unforgettable part for me was when I looked back at the fans while they held up the slogans. It reminded me that these moments are what we’ve been working toward. HONG : What stands out the most for me was the rock version of "Valentine" at the end. It was amazing being up close to fans and passing out the signed balls. We had so much fun.  Now, you were at KCON LA 2024 in July – we were there too! (we were sure to catch your stages, and cheer you on) What was that experience like for you? YORCH : Performing in LA was something we always talked about, so KCON LA was very special to us. HYUNBIN : We’ve been to a lot of festivals, but this one was huge, with so many artists and fans. I left wanting to perform on even bigger stages like KCON, and I hope one day we can fill those arenas with just our POWER fans. JUNGBIN : Every stage is an opportunity for us. An opportunity to meet our POWER fans and introduce ourselves to new K-pop fans. We prepared really hard to show our true selves at KCON LA, and it was such a valuable experience. DONGYEON : KCON LA 2024 felt like a turning point for me. We were so nervous as it was the stage we wanted to be on. But, when I got up on stage, I realized it wasn't as scary as I had feared and that I didn't need to be so tense. It made me realize, I should feel more at ease for future performances. It was a great learning experience.  HONG : It was our first performance in the U.S. and a stepping stone for more to come. What was your favorite part of KCON LA 2024? YORCH : I think the best part was just performing on such a big stage. The energy from all the people who love music made it even more fun. I had a blast! HYUNBIN : Standing in the center of the Crypto Arena stage was amazing. The fans were so immersed in our performance from a 360 angle. I felt the passion of K-pop fans from all around the world. JUNGBIN : Everything about the experience was awesome, but performing on stage is definitely what made me the happiest. Whether it was the showcase or the pre-show stage, I loved seeing so many K-pop fans having a great time with us. DONGYEON : The moments on stage were the most memorable for me. I told myself that I never want to forget those feelings. HONG : I loved being able to perform on such a huge 360-degree stage. It was exciting to see fans from all directions enjoying the show. While we were at KCON LA 2024, we met several new and long-time POWER, whom we reached out to, to see if they had any questions for the members. Here are just a few: What's your favorite song these days? (@itsisabella3000) YORCH : Lately, I’ve been into electric guitar sounds, so I’ve been listening to "Die With A Smile" by Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars a lot. HYUNBIN : I’ve been liking DAY6’s "Melt Down" recently. It gives me this nostalgic feeling, like I’m remembering memories I didn’t even have. JUNGBIN : I’ve been listening to "A Walk" by Baek Yerin a lot. It feels perfect for the cool fall weather, especially when I’m on my way home after a long day. DONGYEON : I’m into "Michi Teyu Ku" by Fujii Kaze right now. The colder weather fits perfectly with the mood of the song. HONG : "LOVE" by Kendrick Lamar. It’s such a romantic song, and I love the topline. What fashion trend do you love? (@xujayhao) YORCH : I’ve been into second-hand items lately. They tend to have a lot of natural-toned colors, which I like. HYUNBIN : I love beanies these days. I’ve been looking at different designs and fits from various brands. JUNGBIN : I’m a big fan of streetwear. I’ve been wearing a lot of wide or Bermuda pants with shirts, but lately, I’ve also been enjoying a rock-chic look. DONGYEON : I like silver accessories, especially chains and necklaces. It depends on the outfit, but I often tuck the necklace inside my shirt. HONG : I like all-black outfits with a standout bag as the highlight. Favorite sanrio character :0 (@bhnnys) YORCH : Cinnamoroll is my favorite! Fans say I look like him, and I often wear Cinnamoroll items during fan signs. HYUNBIN : I like Kuromi the most. Fans always tell me I look like him. JUNGBIN : Cinnamoroll, because he’s cute. DONGYEON : I like Kuromi since I love black. HONG : Kuromi! My nickname for games  used to be Kuromi. What is your favorite pose? (@bhnnys) YORCH : I like the pose where I put my hands in my pockets the best. HYUNBIN : The cat pose! Fans gave me the nickname “Kkunyangi" because they say I look like a cat. JUNGBIN : I like the "Grr-Ang" pose. It’s the one I’ve done the most since I was a trainee. DONGYEON : I like the "tired thumbs up" pose. HONG : I like the salute pose. What is the hardest choreography you’ve ever learned? (xujayhao) YORCH : "Favorite" is the hardest for me! The song is fast, and the choreography is even faster with lots of floor moves, so it’s tough. HYUNBIN : It’s hard to pick just one because they’re all challenging. But we always give our best since it makes our fans smile. JUNGBIN : "Valentine" was the hardest for me to learn. You really need to listen to the music carefully to get the right rhythm and details, which makes it hard. DONGYEON : It would be "Amazing." It’s all about energy and charisma, so it’s physically more demanding. HONG : "Amazing" was tough. Getting the facial expressions and the detailed dance moves right was not easy. Today’s TMI? (@xujayhao) YORCH : I ordered Korean pork backbone soup today, but the rice didn’t come with it, so I had to go buy one from the convenience store! HYUNBIN : I drank chocolate milk as soon as I woke up. JUNGBIN : I usually only drink Americano, but today, I also had watermelon juice. DONGYEON : My hair is naturally wavy, so it forms curls even if I just blow-dry it without styling. HONG : I ate pork belly, and it was so delicious! Are there any plans for a North America Tour, or even a world tour? POW : We believe that when the opportunity comes, we’ll be ready to grab it. We’re sharpening our skills together for bigger stages. With the love our music receives from fans worldwide, we're confident the chance to visit them will come. We can't wait to create unforgettable performances with our fans. Any new projects that you're working on? JUNGBIN : We’re working on new songs and preparing for performances for POWER fans. You can look forward to it! Since they asked about new upcoming projects, let's take a look into your upcoming 2nd EP, 'Boyfriend' that is releasing on October 21st! What can you tell us about your upcoming EP and pre-release? YORCH : Our second EP is packed with songs that show POW’s unique vibe. The title track especially shows off our energetic side, and I’m sure fans will love it. And "Sunset," the pre-release track, was written by me and the members. We poured all our feelings of missing fans during the long hiatus into this song. Through this song, we want to show our emotions truly.  JUNGBIN : The title track will be a familiar sound for everyone. I'm really happy that we could reinterpret Avril Lavigne's hit song "Girlfriend" and show it in POW's own color. We'll showcase an energetic and confident youth narrative in our high-teen style. While preparing for this album, we worked so hard to improve ourselves, physically and internally compared to our first EP. I hope everyone can feel energized and enjoy our music wherever they are. Last time we spoke, we discussed the differing sounds of “ Favorite ” and “ Valentine ,” with each member acknowledging that “ Valentine ” showcased a more mature side of POW. How do you think " Boyfriend " compares to your previous releases? DONGYEON : In our previous albums, I think POW had more of a youthful image. We may not be fully grown mature men yet, but we’ve worked hard to emphasize a more masculine charm this time. Before, we were shy boys who hesitated to express our feelings, but now we're brave enough to express feelings of jealousy. There is more energy in the sound and performance because of this. What do you think is the highlight of " Boyfriend "? HYUNBIN : The song has a catchy hook and a fun rap bridge. YORCH and HONG sang those parts, and I don’t think anyone would have expected POW to sing lyrics like this. We wanted to bring that fun element. HONG : Instead of repeating difficult choreography, the performance is filled with movements that radiate energy. I think it’s a song that will make everyone feel like they’re part of the cheer. Can you walk us through how you prepared for this comeback? YORCH : For "Boyfriend," I wanted to show a more mature and masculine vibe. While preparing for the stage, I watched a lot of high-teen movies to figure out how to portray the emotions. HYUNBIN : I worked out a lot to show a more masculine look visually. I used to hate working out, but I really want people to notice a difference this time. JUNGBIN : I read philosophy, poetry collections, and essays. I think reading about things I hadn’t experienced or considered before helped me mature. DONGYEON : I re-recorded some parts several times to make sure the best version is out there. YORCH, who composed "Sunset," personally participated in the production, preparing the comeback and the album. HONG : Same with HYUNBIN. I also worked out hard like him to give off a more manly vibe. I’ve always been self-conscious about being skinny, so I wanted to improve on that. For listeners who aren't familiar with your songs/sound, what message do you want to convey through this EP? YORCH : Our songs are easy to listen to anytime, anywhere. We hope this EP also puts you at ease. POW’s showing a more mature side this time. We hope you feel the excitement in our music.  From this EP, which track is your favorite, and why that track? YORCH : My favorite track is "Sunset." Since I made it with the members, it holds a lot of meaning. HYUNBIN : Actually, I love all the songs, but if I had to pick one, it would be "Bae" because the hook lyrics are beautiful. JUNGBIN : I love the dreamy mood of “Bae." DONGYEON : I like the title track "Boyfriend" the most. I already loved the original song, and I especially enjoy the choreography. All the songs are great, but the energetic choreography for "Boyfriend" is lots of fun. HONG : My favorite is "Boyfriend!" When you listen to the upbeat drum and bass, it just naturally lifts your mood. Unfortunately, it's time to wrap up our interview. Thank you for taking the time to catch up with us here at K Fuse! But before we wrap up, is there a message that you would like to leave for POWER? YORCH : A lot happened during our long hiatus, but I believe we’re still together because we believe in each other. I wanted to express all the emotions we felt during that time in "Sunset." Under the same sky, with the same feelings, our music, and voices, POW will continue to bring you energy. Please stay close to us, POWER! HYUNBIN : I want to be an artist who always gives POWER happiness and warmth. For those tough and tiring days, I hope just listening to three minutes of our music can be like a fast recharge. Like I always say, when I’m tired, POWER is the source of strength for me. Let’s stay together always. I love you. JUNGBIN : While releasing "Sunset," I read through all the comments and reactions, and it made me feel warm and emotional. I don’t think you realize how big your love means to us. And, I don’t want to lose to that love! We’ll love you even more and give you our very best! There’s no need to wait anymore. It’s time to get excited for what’s coming next!  DONGYEON : When I think about the love I want to share, it’s all about giving you my whole heart and pouring my passion into everything I do. After our long break, we’ve been working hard to bring you amazing songs and moving performances. Can’t wait to see you soon! HONG : I love all things fun! Since my debut, performing has been the highlight for me. But the best part is when POWER fills my view when I’m up on stage! Those moments with you are so important to me. I hope you feel the same. Here’s to a future full of more amazing memories together! As POW continues to rise in popularity, fans can look forward to more exciting releases, performances, and opportunities to get to know the members better. With their undeniable talent and passion for music, POW is set to become a force to be reckoned with in the world of K-Pop. First and foremost, we want to take a moment to say thank you for joining us, taking the time to talk with us, and sharing your story with our readers. For some of our readers, they may be meeting you for the first time, and we like to introduce artists to our readers, an introduction and some fun questions before we get into the more serious questions. K Fuse : Next, we have a few icebreaker questions of this or that: Sexy Concept or Cute Concept Sexy Concept Beach or Mountains Beach Stay Home or Adventure Adventure Recording Sessions or Live Performances Live Performances K Fuse : Thank you for that short insight to who you are! Now, it’s time for the more serious question. KISU, you are no stranger to the music scene, so let’s talk about your start in music. K Fuse : Who / What inspired you to pursue music as a career? KISU: From a young age, my dream was to become an elementary school teacher. I dedicated myself to my studies and consistently achieved good grades. However, everything changed during middle school when I went to karaoke with my friends. Singing had always been a passion of mine, but it wasn't until that night that I truly realized its potential. My friends were amazed by my voice and praised me for my talent. Their encouragement sparked a shift in my focus; I began to immerse myself in music and nurtured my desire to become a singer. K Fuse : How did you get started in the entertainment industry? KISU: At first, my dream was simply to become a ballad singer, and I had no interest in being an idol. During high school, I participated in a singing competition organized by the government with a classmate, and we achieved excellent results, making me quite well-known at school. I went on to enroll in a practical music program and was actively pursuing music. However, I learned that my friend, Jisook, who had participated in the competition with me, was going to debut as an idol in the group Rainbow. Watching her debut made me reflect on my own path; I realized that while I had been saying I wanted to be a great musician or ballad singer, I hadn’t been putting in the necessary effort. Determined to become an idol, I auditioned and got accepted into a company. When I first joined, I practiced with EXID (before their debut). My work hours were from 1 PM to 5 AM, which were incredibly tough and exhausting. After about a year and a half of trainee life, I decided to leave the company after much contemplation. I intended to return to pursuing a career as a ballad singer, but I ended up spending a lot of time having fun to make up for the time I hadn’t been able to enjoy. During this period, my father became critically ill, and I was told he might pass away in the hospital. I prayed fervently, promising that if he recovered, I would definitely become an idol again. Miraculously, my father did recover and was discharged from the hospital. Following that, I auditioned again and ended up joining the company that produced 24K, debuting as a member of the group. K Fuse : Going from performing with a group to performing as a solo artist, was there anything that you discovered about yourself through this process? KISU: I often felt very discouraged during my time in the group. This was because the company didn't like my singing and continuously pressured me, which really affected my confidence. The self-assured version of me that existed before my debut became much more withdrawn while I was active with 24K. However, after transitioning to a solo artist, I was able to regain the part of myself I had lost, and now I truly love being on stage. K Fuse : How do you feel that you have personally grown over the years as an artist? KISU: I am growing every year. My voice becomes stronger, and I continue to add more details. I find it amazing how I keep growing. I believe this is largely due to the love and support I receive from my many fans. K Fuse : You have participated in the Writing and Composition of several tracks. Which has been your favorite? Why? KISU: "KISS U" is the most meaningful to me. I composed it with a lot of love for my fans. The song reflects the name of my fandom and the affection I have for them. K Fuse : Can you tell us about your creative process when writing lyrics and composing tracks? KISU: I write songs based on my experiences. I draw from the things I've lived through. For example, there was a time when I felt overwhelmed, so I went to the beach alone. Watching the waves crash reminded me of my own emotions; the nearby waves were tumultuous, while the distant sea looked so calm and peaceful. This inspired me to realize that the worries and concerns I face now will seem insignificant over time. I incorporated this insight into the lyrics of my song "Waves of You." K Fuse : Are there any genres that you would like to explore in your next release? KISU: I feel that I need more energetic songs, so I'm trying to incorporate EDM elements into my music. K Fuse : Which track has been your favorite to create? Why? KISU: I had the most fun creating "cheeseburger" because it's a fun song. I imagined my fans enjoying it while I was making it. K Fuse : It has been announced that you will be performing in Alabama. What can fans expect from this performance? ( questions approved prior to interview) KISU: I have already performed in Alabama, and it was such a joyful time with the fans. I would love to meet them again. Just some fun things: K Fuse : Some of our readers may not know, but you carry the self-chosen nickname ‘Han Seok-Bong’ because of your calligraphy skills. Could we see some of your calligraphy? KISU: I designed most of the album logos for 24K, and I think people would enjoy seeing them. K Fuse : If we asked you to pick a member that you were closest with in 24K, who would it be and why? KISU: I consider Changseon, who is currently active with TAN, to be one of my closest members because he was my roommate during our overseas performances. In fact, I'm close with all the members, and I miss them. K Fuse : Can you share any TMI with our readers? KISU: I had Korean food in the U.S., but it wasn't tasty. In fact, I found the American food to be much better. You all will be amazed by Korean food when you come to Korea, so hurry up and come right now! K Fuse : If you could collaborate with any artist, who would it be? Why? KISU: While on my U.S. tour, I happened to listen to a song by the musician "MVSE" in the car. I really liked the track and sent him a DM expressing my desire to collaborate. I hope that collaboration will come to fruition! K Fuse : Before we wrap up, is there a message that you would like to leave for your fans and our readers? KISU: I was so happy to meet my loving fans in the U.S. I really want to meet all the fans I couldn't connect with as well. During my recent trip to the U.S., I experienced so much. I felt motivated to work harder on my music, and I also realized that the U.S. isn’t as far away as I thought. Even if the distance is great, our hearts are always close. I promise to come back to meet you next year, so please wait for me. I love you! K Fuse : Again, we want to thank you for your time and sharing your story with our readers. We are looking forward to seeing what the future holds for you! STAY CONNECTED WITH KISU FOR DETAILS ON FUTURE ACTIVITIES AND RELEASES! Instagram | X (Twitter)
