PREZENT is a delightful mix of four original Japanese tracks and Japanese versions of their previous hits, showcasing ZB1’s versatility and charm. The EP kicks off with the energetic anthem, “NOW OR NEVER,” blending pop-rock vibes with an infectious chorus. The guitar riffs are electrifying, and the members’ harmonies add depth to the track. It’s a perfect opener that sets the tone for the EP. The next track serves as the opening theme for the Pokémon anime, “Only One Story.” This track is pure nostalgia wrapped in a modern pop package. The melody is uplifting, and the chorus is catchy, making it a standout track that’s sure to resonate with both new listeners and longtime fans. The third track, “Firework,” lives up to its name with an explosive energy and vibrant beats. The chorus is a burst of excitement, while the bridge features a high note that’s nothing short of spectacular. It’s a track that demands to be played on repeat. Slowing things down a bit, “HANA” is a beautiful ballad that showcases the group’s vocal prowess. The harmonies are lush, and the emotional delivery is heartfelt, making it a touching addition to the EP. Listeners are then greeted with a Japanese rendition of ZB1’s previous hit, “Feel the POP” as it brings a fresh twist to the original. The upbeat tempo and playful lyrics make it a fun listen, and it’s interesting to hear the song in a new linguistic light. Closing the EP is “GOOD SO BAD” (Japanese ver.), which offers a smooth blend of R&B and pop elements. The members’ vocals shine, especially during the chorus, and the Japanese lyrics flow seamlessly with the melody.
