Diadem! The news you’ve been waiting for – Rolling Quartz is coming back to the US and Canada in just a few short months for their Stand-Up Tour! This is their first return to North America since their sold-out Rock N’ Roll Paradise Tour in 2023.
K-rock girl band Rolling Quartz consists of members Iree, Arem, Jayoung, Yeongeun, and Hyunjung. The band debuted in December 2020 under Rolling Star Entertainment with their single “Blaze,” though they had been actively performing since 2019. Originally two separate bands, with Jayoung, Yeongeun, and Hyunjung being members of “Rose Quartz” and Iree and Arem being the duo “Rolling Girls,” the five combined forces (and names) to create a dynamic new group. Prior to debut, Rolling Quartz grew their fanbase by posting rock covers of popular pop songs on YouTube and occasionally performing demos of unreleased tracks.
Outside of releasing music, the group thrives on interacting with fans, and spent most of their downtime during the COVID-19 pandemic strengthening their bonds with Diadem through social media. They have also put on several solo concerts for fans, where they perform live and have both English and Spanish translators to help them communicate with fans across the globe. In 2022, their first EP, Fighting, ranked in the Top 5 of iTunes’ US Rock Albums chart, making Rolling Quartz the first Korean indie band to make the list. Later that same year, the band collaborated with American K-pop artist AleXa by composing a rock version of her single “Xtra.” They were later able to perform this version with AleXa on MTV Jammin’.Rolling Quartz’s most recent comeback album, Victory, was released in July 2024 and features hit songs “Victory” and “ONE.”
