In the heat of summer, on June 20th, four of the seven members of VERIVERY embarked on a North American summer fanmeeting tour and stopped by Atlanta’s CENTER STAGE for a thrilling night.

GYEHYEON, YEONHO, KANGMIN, and YONGSEUNG met fans in Seoul, New York, Chicago, Minneapolis, Atlanta, Fort Worth, and Los Angeles throughout this tour, while members Hoyoung and Minchan remain on hiatus to focus on their health, and Dongheon completes his military service.

The attending members opened the show with a passionate and motivating song, ‘Crazy Like That,’ from their 7th Mini Album, Liminality - EP. DREAM. It was the perfect push and pull of lyrics to sing along to and beats to move to to get the crowd excited for the show. VERIVERY fans, affectionately referred to as VERRER, were moving to the music from the moment the members took the stage until the end of the encore nearly 2 hours later.

Gyehyeon, Yeonho, Kangmin, Yongseung, and their Jellyfish Entertainment team, curated more than a traditional concert for this tour. Fans were able to engage and interact with the artist while they played quiz games, answer fan questions, and cover songs/dances.

Yeonho, the main vocalist, refused to hold back his passion and powerful vocals. It was evident every time he belted a note but backed up by his own words when answering a fan question that read, “Why did you become an artist?” He answered simply and told VERRER that he just loved to sing. It was a genuine moment between artist and fan where you could feel the giggle ripple through the crowd at his honesty but also a sense of awe at the way he unapologetically pursued this passion of his.

When it was time for a bit more silliness, the members were challenged to a ‘Guess That Song’ game and had to perform the dance as well. Yeongseung and Kangmin flawlessly covered Seventeen’s ‘Super’ before later having to complete the ‘Yare Yare’ challenge. Yeonho and Gyehyeon ended up with a VERIVERY song where they turned it up a notch and had to perform the dance in 2x speed. There’s nothing quite like sharing joy with one of your favorite artists and the energy shared in the venue that night can only be described as unrelenting joy.

Games and fun weren’t just for the sake of the show, but the logistics because as they disappeared in pairs in their colorful opening number outfits, they reappeared clad in all black ready for the intense choreography stages to come. They truly maximize their own stage presence by making sure they reach every corner of the stage, reaching every heart of the fans in the crowd. Kangmin raps his heart out in ‘Alright,’ Yeonho’s stable vocals and Yongseung’s precise dance skills shine in ‘O’ and Gyehyeon thrived as they performed ‘G.B.T.B.’ as one of their high-energy closing songs.

Something remarkable can be said about VERIVERY’s diversity in style of their discography and how they tend to each share the spotlight each song. But one of the things fans continue to appreciate is the ability to keep the energy high and see smiles on the artists’ faces; As VERIVERY covered One Direction’s ‘That’s What Makes You Beautiful,’ anyone in attendance could tell that covering the song was meant to eternalize the evening in raw happiness with members and fans alike.

As the tour concluded, the memories created with VERRER and new fans will be cherished for a lifetime. VERIVERY's commitment to delivering exceptional performances and connecting with their audience ensures that their legacy will endure beyond the stage.
