Do you dream of being the next global artist to perform on stage, but don't know where to start? We know just what you need! The Academy Australia ("The Academy") will begin hosting thier live and online auditions for The Academy 2024 K-Pop Boot Camp on June 1, 2024 -- and they're waiting for you!
That's right! The Academy will be hosting live and online auditions worldwide beginning June 1, 2024 for their 10-day flagship event of the year -- The Academy 2024 K-Pop Boot Camp. This event gives trainees the opportunity to step into the schedule, training, and routines of their favorite idols while working with vocal and dance trainers from companies like RBW and JYP Entertainment. Trainees will undergo an audition -- to which they will await a "Letter of Offer" from The Academy, -- embark on a 10-day training adventure in South Korea, undergo vocal and dance lessons, and participate in showcases. Interested? Let's break this down a little further.
Registration
Registration is open to anyone who is age 11 or older by the audition date. Those interested in auditioning MUST complete the online registration form in its entirety, and submit the required payment of AUD 60 before deadline -- all registrations and payments must be completed at least 24 hours prior to the live audition date.

Auditions will take place between June 1, 2024 and June 9, 2024, based on the following schedule:
June 02, 2024: Brisbane, Australia | 1:00 – 3:00 PM @ Mad Dance House
June 07, 2024: Paris, France | 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM @ Kick Cafe
June 08, 2024: Paris, France | 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM @ Kick Cafe
June 08, 2024: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia | 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM @ Redmouse Dance Academy
June 08, 2024: Singapore | 5:00 – 8:00 PM @ Singapore Raffles Music College
June 08, 2024: Perth, Australia | 6:00 – 7:00 PM @ Ardence Studio
June 08, 2024: Melbourne, Australia | 2:00 – 4:00 PM @ Studio 107 - Trainee studio
June 09, 2024: Sydney, Australia | 12:00 – 2:00 PM @ K Centre Studio B Eastwood
June 09, 2024: Danang, Vietnam | 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM, 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM @ Hanoi Telecom Central Branch
June 09, 2024: Hanoi, Vietnam | 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM, 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM @ Hanoi Telecom HQ
June 09, 2024: Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam | 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM, 1:00 – 5:00 PM @ Hanoi Telecom Southern Branch
For residents not located in these locations, online auditions will be available starting on Friday, March 31, 2024 at 10:00PM EST and end on June 9, 2024 at 9:59AM EST. Online submissions MUST follow the below instructions:
Video needs to be filmed in a bright location
Submission video should be in horizontal landscape mode
Whole body must be filmed and captured by the camera
Include a self-introduction video and a choreography -- reminder: showcasing vocals is optional
Upload the video to Google Drive or Dropbox folder titled "(Full Name) 2024 Boot Camp Audition."
Ensure folder is accessible for "Anyone with the link"

Selection
Upon conclusion of the live and online auditions, judges will review the applications to determine the Top 100 trainees who will move forward to join The Academy 2024 K-Pop Boot Camp -- these results will be released on July 8, 2024 (AEST). The Top 100 trainees that have been chosen to join The Academy 2024 K-Pop Boot Camp will be given a "Letter of Offer" which will provide further instructions on how to claim their spot in the program. Trainees who have confirmed their intent to participate will remain in the Facebook Group so that they may receive tools, resources, and a payment schedule to help better prepare them for the 2024 K-Pop Boot Camp
There will be "Audition Awards" given to outstanding candidates after the live and online auditions. The Academy understands and acknowledges the efforts required of those auditioning, and want to recognize those efforts by awarding sponsorships to those who have done well. Those who have completed their online registration form and submitted their registration fee of AUD 60 are automatically qualified for the chance to win a sponsorship award.
Auditions will be raked with scores by partnered agencies as well as dance and vocal trainers, and sponsorships will be given to the following:
Top Auditionee - AUD 300.00
Top Vocal Auditionee - AUD 100.00
Top Dance Auditionee - AUD 100.00
**Sponsorship awards are deducted from the final payment of the auditionee's total fees
**Auditionees CAN win more than one sponsorship award based on their scores.
