That’s Right, He’s “Still JYP:” JYP Announces 30th Anniversary Concert in LA

JYP fans rejoice! The man, the myth, the legend JYP has announced his 30th Anniversary Concert: Still JYP will take place on March 22, 2025, at The Wiltern in Los Angeles, CA!



JYP, also known by the names J. Y. Park and The Asiansoul, is a standout name in the K-pop industry. As a singer, songwriter, producer, record executive, and the founder of JYP Entertainment, JYP has certainly made his mark on the industry over his impressive 30-year career. JYP Entertainment is one of the most well-known entertainment agencies in South Korea, home to famous idol groups such as Stray Kids, TWICE, ITZY, NMIXX, Xdinary Heroes, and 2PM. JYP has reached several incredible milestones over the course of his career. In 2004, he branched out from the South Korean entertainment industry and began producing music for US artists including Mase and Will Smith. Just a few years later in 2009, he and co-writer RAINSTONE became the first Korean songwriters to reach the Billboard Hot 100 with the hit song “Nobody” by former JYP Entertainment girl group the Wonder Girls. The song was so successful as the first South Korean song to enter the US charts that the group performed as an opening act for the Jonas Brothers World Tour later that year, further establishing JYP’s impact in the US market.

Over the course of his career as a musician, JYP has released a total of eleven albums and EPs, and seven non-album singles including his latest digital single released in November 2024, “Easy Lover.”


He has also been recognized by several awards throughout his career, both nationally and internationally. In 2010, he was awarded the Global Ambassador Award at the World Leadership Awards in Atlanta, GA, alongside other notable figures including Justin Bieber and former President Bill Clinton. Most recently, he was awarded the Inspiring Achievement award at the 2024 Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA) in LA.
