'PRIME TIME': Min's Unforgettable EP Release Party in New York City

New York City, a bustling metropolis renowned for its vibrant atmosphere, witnessed an extraordinary event on March 21st. The street leading to Racket NYC became a hub of excitement as Say A and MINions from all walks of life eagerly lined up for an unforgettable evening of excitement and new music.

The spotlight of the night shone on South Korean artist Min, a multifaceted talent known for her roles as a singer, television personality, songwriter, actress, and former member of the popular group Miss A. The occasion marked the release party for her highly anticipated first EP, 'PRIME TIME,' a momentous milestone in her career. The event was hosted by the of esteemed hosts from the K-Pop scene, Chis and Chanel of CCTV: The Nonstop Pop Show, who added their charisma and expertise to the proceedings. With a grand introduction by the hosts, Min took to the stage, igniting the crowd with her performance of the track "SHIMMY" from 'PRIME TIME.'


As Min exited off the stage, it was time for the MCs to sustain the crowd’s energy as they hosted several giveaways of event-specific merch.  Fans kept the energy alive as they filled the venue with cheers and grunts while winning ticket numbers were called. Throughout the night, Min not only showcased her vocal prowess but also shared intimate insights into her music. The performance of "M.A.W" stood out as a poignant moment, where she bared her soul and shared the song's profound message of resilience and self-empowerment, leaving a lasting impact on the audience.

One of the most touching segments of the evening came with the presentation of "Happy Plant," a touching recording of a conversation between Min and her grandmother. Min explained that her “Grandma has a happy plant, and when it blooms, it means prosperity and bringing good fortune.”  Fans watched a video showing photos of Min and her grandmother with a translation of the conversation where Min’s Grandmother tells her that the plant has bloomed and that while she would receive good luck, she wanted to gift that good luck to her granddaughter (Min). This heartfelt gesture resonated deeply with the audience, evoking emotions of nostalgia, love, and familial bonds.


As the night progressed, Min continued to captivate the crowd with her performance of "Prime Time," a powerful anthem of self-belief and determination as she explained it was, "for all the hater!" Her stage presence was magnetic, drawing everyone into her world of music and artistry.

The event ended in a heartwarming moment as Min surprised fans with a special cover of Miss A's classic hit, "Good Girl Bad Girl." The energy in the room soared as fans sang along and danced to the infectious beats, creating an atmosphere of pure euphoria. Next was a celebration of her 33rd birthday -- adding a personal touch to the evening, with touching messages from friends and fellow artists underscoring the impact of her artistry and personality. As Min bid farewell to her fans, the night left a lasting impression of inclusivity and gratitude. Her interactions with supporters, photo sessions, and genuine appreciation for the love and support she receives highlighted her humility and connection with her audience.


As Min embarks on the next chapter of her musical journey, fans and admirers eagerly anticipate the evolution of her artistry and the authenticity she brings to her craft. The night at Racket NYC was not just a celebration of music but a testament to Min's talent, resilience, and unwavering dedication to her art.
