WEVE! ONEWE is headed to North America next month as part of their first-ever World Tour: O! New E!volution IV! This is the first time WEVE (ONEWE's official fandom) in the US and Canada will have the chance to experience a live performance from ONEWE.

K-rock band ONEWE first debuted in 2015 under Modern Music, originally with the name M.A.S 0094 (Make a Sound 0094). Their debut song, “Butterfly, Finding Flower,” was written as a commemoration of the 70th anniversary of the liberation of Korea from Japanese colonial rule. The song was specifically dedicated to “Comfort Women,” who were victims of sexual slavery by the Imperial Japanese Army before and during WWII, with all proceeds from the song and its performances donated to support the surviving women at the time.

The ensemble consists of five members. Yonghoon, the leader and main vocalist, whose exceptional vocal range and emotive delivery are complemented by his proficiency in both guitar and keyboard. His musical versatility not only enhances the group's performances but also plays a crucial role in their songwriting process. Next is Harin, the powerhouse drummer whose rhythmic precision and energetic beats provide the backbone for the band's sound. His ability to adapt to various musical styles adds depth to their compositions. Kanghyun, another integral member, showcases his skills on the guitar, infusing the group's music with rich melodies and intricate riffs. Lead vocalist Dongmyeong, who also plays the keyboard, brings a distinctive flair to the ensemble with his soulful voice and captivating stage presence. Finally, the group's maknae, Giuk (formerly CyA), plays the bass, grounding their sound with his deep, resonant tones.

All five members are deeply involved in the creative process behind their songs, from the initial writing stages to the final production, ensuring that their music is a true reflection of their identity as a group and individuals.

In June 2017, the group changed their name to MAS, signaling their moved from Modern Music to RBW. Ready to showcase their skills even further, the members participated in RBW's debut project 'RWB Trainee Real Life - We Will Debut' before officially re-debuting on May 13, 2019, as ONEWE with the title track “Reminisce about All.”

Throughout their nearly decade-long career, ONEWE has engaged with their fans through various online platforms, hosting several mini-concerts that allowed them to showcase their talent and connect with their audience. However, this upcoming tour marks a significant milestone as it will be their first opportunity to perform live in person for fans in North America, a moment that both the group and their supporters have eagerly anticipated!

ONEWE's most recent comeback, which coincides with the release of their highly anticipated second full album titled 'WE : Dream Chaser,' took place on March 5th. This album features the title track, “The Starry Night,” a song that resonates deeply with art enthusiasts and music lovers alike. Drawing inspiration from the iconic Van Gogh painting, the track not only showcases Kanghyun's remarkable composition skills but also highlights the lyrical prowess shared between him and Giuk. The result is a beautifully crafted piece that weaves together vivid imagery and emotive storytelling, making it a standout in their discography.

'Musically, “The Starry Night” is reminiscent of J-rock, a genre that has garnered a passionate following, and many fans have noted its potential to serve as an excellent opening theme for an anime series due to its energetic yet introspective nature. The song encapsulates the essence of chasing dreams and the beauty of artistic expression, further solidifying ONEWE's reputation as a group that not only entertains but also inspires through their music.
