Lim Jae-beom, known as Jay B, blends R&B, soul, and hip-hop and is the leader of GOT7. He started b-boying in middle school and was scouted by JYP Entertainment in 2009, beginning his idol training. Jay B showed versatility in acting with roles in "Dream High 2" (2011) and "When A Man Falls In Love" (2013). He debuted with Jinyoung as JJ Project in 2012 and later as GOT7's leader in 2014. After leaving JYP, he joined H1GHER MUSIC and debuted solo with "Switch It UP," co-written with Jay Park and Cha Cha Malone, becoming the third Korean soloist to chart on Billboard R&B/Hip Hop Digital Single Sales Chart.
