Atlanta-area fans of IVE, termed “DIVE,” eagerly anticipated their first appearance in Atlanta as part of their first World tour, 'SHOW WHAT i HAVE.' IVE made their debut in 2021 under Starship Entertainment, and consists of members Yujin, Wonyoung, LeeSeo, Liz, Gaeul, and Rei.
DIVE eagerly anticipated the show and waved their IVE lightsticks (affectionately termed “I HA BONG”) and sang along with the pre-show soundtrack to some of their favorite tracks (e.g., “Baddie”). They enjoyed seeing a partial world map displayed across the stage screens with a blinking icon representing THEIR city. When the show track loudly began playing “Kitsch,” DIVE enthusiastically cheered and loudly sang along.
As the front screens opened, DIVE's cheered reached new heights even before the members were visible. As IVE began moving to the front of the stage -- beautifully costumed in coordinating white embellished satin --the opened the show with “I AM,” receiving an enthusiastic response from the crowd. They quickly moved to the extended stage to perform the “rock version” of “Royal,” accompanied by dancers, and waving to the fans. While confetti and streamers were a frequent sight during the concert, at the end of “Royal,” the confetti was, fittingly, gold! A performance of “Blue Blood” followed, and included a salute, and a march back to the main stage. Next was the first Ment, in which the members introduced themselves and spoke of their excitement at meeting DIVE at their first concert in Atlanta, dedicating the next song to their “Heroine,” DIVE. During the next song, “Cherish,” fans were especially delighted during the parts of the song when the members, using selfie cams, were displayed on the large screens with borders around their images, as if they were on a live stream. And then the fan favorite, and IVE’s debut single, “ELEVEN” was performed, to resounding cheers and applause from DIVE.
After the second VCR, the members returned in beautiful blue outfits and enchanted DIVE by singing “Shine With Me” and “Either Way.” An interlude followed in which the members took turns changing costumes while the remaining members spoke about what they have enjoyed about their visit to Atlanta which included a trip to the Georgia Aquarium, watching an Atlanta Hawks basketball game at State Farm Arena, visiting Target, and eating steak! They also pointed out that since Georgia is famous for peaches, their makeup was changed to include peach blush on their cheeks!
In their new stage outfits (minus the skirts), they performed several more songs such as “Lips,” “Mine,” and “Off The Record.” Solo and unit stages followed including covers of “7 Rings” by Ariana Grande and “Woman Like Me” by Little Mix, among others. The next VCR introduced a shift in tone (but we’re not going to spoil it here!) to segue into “Hypnosis” which was one of the highlights of the night - really showing a different side of IVE and highlighting their vocals, choreography, and performance. During the next Ment, IVE thanked fans for enjoying their stages and described the hard work they had put into preparing for Hypnosis and presenting a newer, “creepy” look to their performance. They also showed their appreciation for DIVE screaming so loudly for them during their solo and unit stages. After having shown a different side, they then said they would be performing songs “the most like IVE” and the crowd went crazy as they performed favorites like “LOVE DIVE,” “Kitsch,” and “After LIKE.” One of the last songs of the night was “OTT,” which they explained as standing for their love for DIVE being “Over The Top,” and they expressed their desire to return to Atlanta DIVE again soon! The evening ended with IVE performing their latest release, “All Night (feat. Saweetie)” and they did not disappoint - with several encore repeats of it - as it seemed neither IVE nor DIVE was ready for the night to end!
