2024 Korea Kimchi Festival: Celebrating Culture, Flavor, and Tradition

We are excited to announce the upcoming Korea Kimchi Festival, the largest of its kind, which will be held in major cities around the world. The 2024 Korea Kimchi Festival celebrates Korea's iconic culinary dish and delves into the heart of Korean culture. Scheduled from September 26th to November 23rd, the festival will visit cities such as Los Angeles (USA), London (UK), Sydney (Australia), and New Delhi (India). It promises to be a must-attend event for food and culture enthusiasts looking to experience the rich heritage of Korea.



The festival's itinerary includes stops in:

- Los Angeles, USA: September 26-27, 2024 at Seoul International Park

- London, UK: October 12, 2024 at Samsung KX

- Sydney, Australia: November 9, 2024 at Darling Harbour Tumbalong Park

- New Delhi, India: November 23, 2024 at Yashobhoomi


Attendees can look forward to a range of engaging activities at the festival, such as kimchi-making sessions, K-pop dance performances, and Hallyu community events, all aimed at immersing participants in both traditional and modern aspects of Korean culture. The event will be broadcast globally on MBC's "Live Tonight" and Arirang TV, providing a chance for a worldwide audience to join in the festivities. Moreover, each city will feature special guests who will enhance the Korean cultural experience for all attendees. From kimchi-making skills to K-pop dance performances, these guests will ensure an unforgettable festival experience. Highlights of the festival include kimchi-making workshops led by expert chefs, K-pop dance performances, and random dance sessions. The Korea Kimchi Festival serves as a platform for cross-cultural exchange, where visitors from diverse backgrounds can enjoy and explore Korean food and culture.

Organized by W Korea, MBC, and Arirang, and hosted by STOVECA, the festival is also sponsored by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food, and Rural Affairs, Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation, and Hanyang University Korea Cultural Center.
